Mission
Our mission is to continually improve the safety of users of Louisiana's highway system through implementation of the highway safety program.
Goal
Our goal is to decrease the frequency, rate, severity of, and potential for crashes involving motor vehicles, bicyclists, and pedestrians on public roads in Louisiana through the implementation of the Strategic Highway Safety Plan involving engineering, enforcement, education, and emergency services.
Goal: Reduce Fatalities 50% By 2030
