DOTD BROADBAND

As part of the MOBILE NOW Act set forth by FHWA, broadband providers can register to receive information about publicly funded roadway construction projects to assist in the planning and deployment of broadband facilities involving public rights of way. The rule does not require state DOTs to install or allow the installation of broadband in highway ROW.

These information notifications will include, but are not limited to, an annual distribution of the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP ). To be included in this notification, click here for registration.
